Programme Description

The Information and Communication Technology programme at Times School of Higher Education is designed to equip students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic field of IT. The students have the option obtain level 5 qualification (Diploma) as well as proceed to level 6 qualification (Higher Diploma) that consists of three specialized tracks, namely Multimedia and Web Technology, Software Engineering and Database Technology, and Network and Hardware Technology.

Admission Requirements

GCE (A/L) or equivalent and the candidate should have been found competent in ‘basic competencies in information technology.

IT Support Specialist: Providing technical assistance and support to end-users or clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems.

Network Technician: Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks, including LANs (Local Area Networks) and WANs (Wide Area Networks), as well as troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
